Australian case studies
In the course of researching the status of telework in Australia, the Australian Telework Advisory Committee (ATAC) identified a number of examples of successful telework in Australia. The first four case studies in the list to the left were drawn from ATAC's report.
The Commonwealth Government's Department of Finance and Deregulation, Australian Government Information Management Office has prepared a teleworking policy for all ICT staff in the Australian Public Service. The policy was first published in January 2010 and is now available through this site.
IP Australia supports and encourages innovation, investment and international competitiveness and administers Australia's IP rights system. The organisation offers a range of flexible employment arrangements to assist employees to balance their work and other commitments. This case study provides more information.
