Action plan

It is a good idea to establish an action plan for your telework initiative’s implementation phase. It can help you communicate with management and can also help keep you ‘on track’. Most successful telework initiatives have followed a formal action plan. A possible action plan template is available here but you can develop your own.

In the template provided, it has been assumed that the steering committee will meet fortnightly. It may be possible to undertake some of the suggested steps simultaneously. It should also be noted that the more research done before starting the implementation process, the faster you could move through the suggested steps.
